One of the many pieces that R.E.C. has to offer is its beautiful facility. The three barns have well-ventilated stalls that are meticulously maintained for our horses comfort and health.
Riders have access to two outdoor riding arenas, which both have lights for night riding, weekly course changes and wonderful footing. We offer a heated office or a ringside pavilion for observation purposes. Spacious lockers are available for boarders and leasers.
Built on five acres, our cross-country course has a variety of obstacles including Swedish oxers, banks, brush jumps, coops and combination fences. This course is not only exhilarating, but prepares riders for horse showing and hunter pacing.
Eight miles of trails behind our facility gives our horses and riders the opportunity to relax while trail riding through wooded areas. This allows us to take a break from ring work while opening ourselves, and our horses to new challenges. Change of scenery prepares our horses to be away from the facility and does wonders for their mental state as well.
We will continuously stress the importance of turnout for our horses because of the many benefits from doing so. Turnout can aid in respiratory health, better behavior, diet and digestive function, proper musculoskeletal movement and stress management, just to name a few. At R.E.C. the horses may be turned out in one of our dirt paddocks. Based on accessibility and weather conditions we also have grass paddocks and fields available for use.
