Summer Riding Program Application
The program is formatted in weekly sessions (Tuesday through Friday) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Six slots are available for each session.
2014 Summer Riding Program Sessions
- Week 1: July 8th – July 11th
- Week 2: July 15th – July 18th
- Week 3: July 22nd – July 25th
Students will have approximately one hour of riding time each day with an R.E.C. instructor. Along with riding, students will be educated extensively on equine related topics, including but not limited to: grooming, safety, tack cleaning, horse anatomy, equine terms, stable management, feeding and common problems found in horses. A student’s daily routine will vary greatly depending on their knowledge and experience.
Please keep in mind that space is limited to allow for appropriate instruction. The weekly sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis. We require payment in full at time of acceptance into the program at a cost of $750.00 per session. If space allows, a student is more than welcome to attend for more than one session. Due to our demanding schedule, no refunds will be issued.
Students must wear long pants and a boot with a heel. All students should be equipped with an approved riding helmet. If a helmet is not owned, we have limited lesson helmets available for use. If interested, riding apparel packages are available for purchase. R.E.C. will provide snacks daily, however students are encouraged to bring plenty of water and lunch. On Friday’s we will be providing pizza for lunch.
In order to reserve your spot, please print and fill out the Summer Riding Program Application (see green button near top of this page).
